How to Join Us

Medway Cruising Club is open to all those who have an interest in sailing or motor boating.   The Club can accept new members with most types of craft and if you don’t own a boat you can join the Club crew register to take advantage of both cruising and racing opportunities.

Membership is by completion of an application form and subsequent informal meeting with the three of the Club Officers.  Assuming that the Club can meet the applicants’ needs an offer of membership will be made. You can apply for membership by completing the online application form at the bottom of this page. Membership information/application forms are also available from the Membership Secretary or you can download one using this link. Once you have completed the form you can scan or photograph it and email it to the Membership Secretary.

Below is a list of subscription fees, those joining from 1 November to 30 September will pay their subscription pro rata.  The relevant joining fee must be paid at time of joining.

All boat owners must be full members.

*Sailing Associate Membership provides a route for boat owners to enjoy the camaraderie of the MCC and participate in the water based and social activities of the club such as; Sailing in Company, Cruises, Racing and regular Social events. Becoming a Sailing Associate is particularly suited to marina berth holders and members of other clubs who would benefit from the social and water based activities of MCC.

As a Sailing Associate, you are not able to use moorings, access slips, maintenance and boat/tender storage facilities offered by the club. Sailing Associate joining and subscription fees are therefore offered at a price that recognises the reduced offering of the club
